Water Based Clay– is simply that, clay mixed with water. It is usually very inexpensive but must be kept covered or it will dry out. Water based clay is easy to work when it has just the right amount of water, which is easy to manipulate.
Mask– a covering for all or part of the face, worn as a disguise, or to amuse or terrify other people.
Mold– a hollow form or matrix for giving a particular shape to something in a molten or plastic state. the shape created or imparted to a thing by a mold.
Shape– can be defined as the form of an object or its outline, outer boundary or outer surface. … We can find different basic shapes such as the two-dimensional square, rectangle, and oval or the three-dimensional rectangular prism, cylinder, and sphere in the objects we see around us.
Pattern– a repeated decorative design.
Texture– texture is the perceived surface quality of a work of art. It is an element of two-dimensional and three-dimensional designs and is distinguished by its perceived visual and physical properties.
Structure– is a constructed building or a specific arrangement of things or people, especially things that have multiple parts.
Slab Building– is a flat, two-dimensional planar structural component of building having a very small thickness compared to its other two dimensions. It provides a covering shelter or working flat surface in buildings.
Additive– combining two or more separate pieces of clay together to another piece.
Greenware– A ceramic piece that has been completed and dry but not yet fired. ( Bone Dry)
Leather hard– Refers to clay that is dry enough but still damp enough to be joined to other pieces or carved without distortion. Clay at this state resembles leather.
Kiln– A kiln is a special kind of oven for firing things like pottery and bricks. A ceramic artist might use a kiln once a week to fire the bowls he’s made from clay. … Electricity is used to power many modern kilns, while others use older techniques of burning wood or even coal.
